The Albany Chamber of Commerce meets the second Wednesday of each month and all businesses are invited to attend.

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to 2015.
There are some very exciting events coming this year, and we want you to join us more than ever. A strong chamber allows us to bring fun, revenue building events to town such as our Rhythm and Roots Festival which is now entering its fourth year with main act The Ozark Mountain Daredevils (www.ozarkdaredevils.com) to town. Through the success of this concert and the awesome community support that puts it on, we have been chosen as a host city for the first ever Bicycle Accross Missouri (The BIG B.A.M.) Big BAM - Bicycle Across Missouri

This event, along with our annual festival will be two great opportunities to showcase our town, our businesses, and ourselves. Once we show Albany has the ability to host what expects to be up to 2,000 riders and their crews, plus 1,200 or more at our Roots Fest, we will be in line to continue hosting this big event in the future.

This week we had our first committee meeting for the 2015 Rhythm and Roots Festival. The show is set to be bigger and better than ever before!

Please reach out to myself at any time if yourself, your business, or your civic group would like to get involved in these two great events or any of the following that we as a chamber of commerce support:

1. The Chamber Buck Program which in 2014 alone put $14,755 back into our local economy.
Please contact Connie Worden to get yours today!
2. The annual Easter Egg Hunt
3. The Young Farmers with Tractor Pull
4. Annual 4th of July Fireworks Show
5. Heritage Day with the Gentry County Historical Society
6. The Holiday Bazaar
7. Light Night including the Lighting contest
8. Annual Chamber Bridge Tournament
9. Trunk or Treat
10. Support Local Charities and Programs as well as many school events
11. And we Always promote "Shopping at Home"

Thank you all very much for being members in 2014. I had a very rewarding year as president and am excited to see how great we can make this year. We are the "chamber" and that to me means we are one voice working for the same common goal. Please reach out me at any time with ideas, criticism, desires for the chamber, or what we as a group can do to help you and your business.

Enjoy your day,
Bradford
